Chief Executive Officer
Yatish grew up in the hospitality business with his family, starting from one small hotel on the outskirts of San Jose, CA, before moving to Greenville, SC at the age of four. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Management and Finance in 1996. Yatish joined Sycamore Investment Group and has been active in the early growth of the company through new hotel developments in Tennessee. In 2006, he lead the company through its asset reorganization plan, and successfully disposed of all Tennessee hotels, in order to focus future growth in South Carolina and closer to home.
As CEO, Yatish is responsible for the overall growth and financial position of the company. This includes asset and debt management of the portfolio and to arrange for both financing and investor equity for future hotel developments. He is a licensed commercial real estate broker and is skilled in negotiations for site selections and acquisitions.
Yatish plays an active role in the design and construction management of new hotel developments, and always takes a hands-on approach during pre-opening and opening of every new hotel. Yatish lives with his wife and two children in Greenville, SC. In his spare time, Yatish enjoys golfing and watching Gamecocks football games.
Aashay attended the University of South Carolina, and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. He joined Sycamore Investment Group immediately and assumed the position of General Manager of the Radisson Inn Florence, SC, where he guided the hotel to back to back President’s Awards in 1998 and 1999– the highest award attainable through Carlson Hotels. In 2000, he decided to take the company to the next level, by re-assessing the hotels in the portfolio and starting the company in a new direction. He was actively involved in expanding the portfolio by developing two award winning hotels.
Since then, Aashay has been instrumental in managing the company’s portfolio, and directing future growth efforts towards high end brand partners such as Hilton and Marriott. His responsibilities include all facets of hotel operations. He oversees hotel development, construction, design and management, contract negotiations and develops strategy and vision to continue to grow the company.
Aashay lives in Johns Creek, GA with his wife and his twin boys. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations all over the world, and golfing.
Executive Vice President
Ronak graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Administration. After working in a managerial role at the renowned Charleston Place Hotel for two years, he joined Sycamore Investment Group in 2001 as the Director of Operations for the company’s hotels. Ronak was fundamental in the decision to dispose the company’s assets from lower tier brands, and to engage in strategic relationships with the top tier franchise partners only and to outline an aggressive growth strategy. With this in mind, he was instrumental in expanding the company’s portfolio into Florida.
Today his primary responsibilities include directing and managing the overall operations of the company’s portfolio in Florida. He is also charged with expanding our operations in Florida and identifying new markets, site selection and brand partners. Ronak lives with his wife, and son in Orlando.
Vice President of Operations
Neetu graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2001 with degrees in Finance and HR Management. Neetu volunteered extensively with the American Red Cross during the Hurricane Katrina disaster in 2005. He was hired as the Operations Officer for the Office of the Executive Vice President for the American Red Cross in Washington D.C. In this role, he was charged with managing catastrophic disaster resources plan to better allocate resources between sixteen departments, conducting training seminars, and reducing budgets.
In 2008, Neetu joined Sycamore Investment Group as Vice President of Operations.
His primary duties are to work in close contact with the Corporate Director of Sales to outline and develop strategies and budgets for business and revenue growth for each hotel. He also works to provide all necessary resources and expertise to GMs to better enable and empower them to be successful, and to ensure that each hotel exceeds its goals for guest satisfaction.
Neetu remains very involved in his local community. He serves on the Executive Committee Board of VisitGreenvilleSC, he is also a member of the City of Greenville Accommodations Tax Committee, and is a member of numerous lodging associations, and sits on the board of the American Red Cross - Greenville Chapter. He lives with his wife and son in Greenville, SC.
Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing
Jacqui joined Sycamore Investment Group in 2009 after a successful role with JQH Hotels as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Embassy Suites Golf Resort & Conference Center. She brings nearly twenty years of progressive experience and knowledge to Sycamore Investment Group as she manages all aspects of sales and marketing, revenue management, and strategic vision to each of the sales teams. Jacqui also serves as Chief Customer Advocate and ensures an opportunity is never missed to learn from a guest. Her responsibilities also include executing social media strategy and word of mouth marketing, analytical and strategic planning, and marketing of all hotel properties.
Jacqui serves on the Board of Directors of the SC Hospitality Association - Greater Greenville Chapter as Vice President, and President of the Greenville County Youth Orchestras Association. Jacqui and her two children enjoy the performing arts, Georgia Bulldog football and going to movies. They also enjoy volunteering and fundraising for local charities.
Regional Director of Operations
Rakesh graduated from Clemson University in 2003 with a degree in Finance. After working with several banks in their commercial lending departments, he joined Sycamore Investment Group in 2007 to lead the operations of their Aiken hotels. His primary role is to provide guidance, support and oversight to the GMs of Sycamore’s portfolio of hotels in Aiken, SC. He is charged with ensuring that all properties perform above market expectations while maximizing the bottom line, and achieving the budgeted goals. Additionally he is responsible for ensuring that each hotel is consistently ranked in the top tier of its brand for guest satisfaction. He works in close contact with the Corporate Director of Sales to direct the revenue management and implement the necessary strategies at each hotel. He is also charged with promoting the corporate culture to all team members at each hotel.
In a secondary role, Rakesh also handles implementation and coordination of all brand mandated PIP and renovation projects at each of the company’s properties.
Rakesh is very well known and highly respected in the Aiken community, where he has lived all his life. He gives back to the community in every way he can, and sits on multiple local boards and councils in an effort to continue to grow the City of Aiken. An accomplished tennis player himself, he also coaches the South Aiken High School men’s tennis team, and led them to a state championship in 2013. He is also a highly ranked court tennis player and has represented the United States on multiple occasions.
Regional Director of Sales and Marketing
Megan Enge will oversee our portfolio of Hampton Inn & Suites hotels in the Orlando, FL market. She
brings seven years of progressive, multi-brand hotel experience. Megan began hospitality career in
Syracuse, NY in 2008 after graduating with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Bryant &
Stratton College. She relocated to FL in 2014 and joined Sycamore Investment Group in July 2015.
